A strikingly well-preserved 1907 $5 Legal Tender Note certified by PMG as Choice About Uncirculated 58. Printed with a central vignette featuring a frontiersman standing with an axe, accompanied by a seated woman and loyal dog, symbolizing westward expansion. Issued under the Act of March 3, 1863 and engraved by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, this boldly illustrated note also features portraits of President Andrew Jackson at left and the vivid red scalloped Treasury seal at right. The reverse displays an elaborate green geometric medallion design with ornate inscriptions like "THIS NOTE IS A LEGAL TENDER AT ITS FACE VALUE FOR ALL DEBTS PUBLIC AND PRIVATE."
