<B>1907 $20 High Relief, Wire Rim MS64 PCGS.</B></I> The 1907 High Relief double eagles, aside from a handful of Ultra High Relief coins, are the closest representation to Augustus Saint-Gaudens' conception of the design. In this regard, Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth, in their <I>Encyclopedia of U.S. Gold Coins, 1795-1933,</B></I> say: "Arguably the most beautiful coin ever struck for circulation, these American classics were coveted from the time of issue, and remain so to this day." The High Relief twenty dollar comes with either a Wire Rim or Flat Rim.<BR> The present MS64 example embodies all that Saint-Gaudens expressed. Its three dimensional central motifs on both obverse and reverse appear to glide away from the fields, and are boldly defined. Gorgeous green-gold luster enlivens each side, and the few minuscule marks that are present are not in the least bothersome.
