<B>1907 $20 High Relief, Wire Rim MS64 PCGS.</B></I> A satiny and impressive olive-gold example of this famous rarity. Careful rotation beneath a light locates a couple of wispy grazes on the left obverse field, but the overall preservation is exemplary for the MS64 level. The obverse strike is virtually complete. Only the highpoint of the knee shows a trace of incompleteness. On the reverse, the eagle is completely brought up. A few letters near 12 o'clock are slightly soft near the rim. As always for the High Relief type, the base of the rays above the sun is indistinct. This area of the reverse was enhanced for the Arabic Numerals 1907 issue, perhaps the only part of the design to be raised in relief instead of lowered, relative to its High Relief predecessor.
