1907 $20 High Relief, Wire Rim MS63 PCGS. According to Walter Breen, the Wire Rim variant of the High Relief double eagle was coined in December 1907, with 8,250 pieces struck. This figure seems to confirm today's ratio of Wire Rim versus Flat Rim survivors, as roughly 70-75 percent of High Reliefs offered are Wire Rims and 8,250 pieces represents 73 percent of the total mintage of 11,250 pieces. This appealing yellow-gold representative is strongly and displays generally modest blemishes in the fields. A pair of shallow, parallel marks in the obverse field between 9 and 10 o'clock are well suited for future identification.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
