<B>1907 $20 High Relief, Wire Rim MS62 PCGS.</B></I> This lustrous Mint State High Relief double eagle is a wonderful example with brilliant and satiny yellow-gold surfaces. A distinct knife edge is visible on both sides, although somewhat masked by the PCGS holder.<BR> The knife edge was sometimes also called a "fin" by Mint workmen at the time these coins were struck, and was an undesirable feature. Steps were quickly taken to adjust the dies and collar so that further examples had a smooth and flat rim and edge.
