This piece boasts surfaces that are free of most sizeable distracting abrasions, save for two parallel scratches on the reverse. One is over the eagle's head; the other is under it, running to the left rim. The color is a pleasing yellow-gold shade, and the devices retain ample evidence of the powerful impression for which this first-year issue is known. Light highpoint rub is confined to Liberty's right (facing) leg and head, and the eagle's wing edge. An affordable alternative to a much more expensive Mint State specimen.
