1907 $2 1/2 PR64 PCGS. Just 154 proofs were minted in this final year of the Liberty Head quarter eagle series. This is an impressive specimen with watery, deep reflectivity in the fields. The design elements display rich golden-orange accents, and the fields exhibit beautiful forest-green color. The strike is intricate save for minor incompleteness on the eagle's left (facing) leg. Faint marks on the left obverse field are the only possible hindrance to a higher grade designation. According to Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth (2006): "There are probably about 100 examples of the issue known in all grades." Housed in a green label PCGS holder.

Coin Engraver: Christian Gobrecht

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information\)
