<B>1907 $10 PR64 NGC.</B></I> This is the final year of mintage for the proof Liberty eagle and the lowest mintage of the 20th century. The piece's status as a proof is confirmed by the exquisitely and deeply mirrored fields, orange peel surfaces, and sharply struck devices. A significant amount of contrast exists between the devices and the fields, giving a nice black-and-white (or black-and-gold) effect when examining the coin from straight on, but apparently not quite enough to justify a Cameo designation.
