<B>1907 $10 No Periods MS66 PCGS.</B></I> This is actually the Charles Barber-modified design of Augustus Saint-Gaudens, with the triangular stops or periods removed on either side of TEN DOLLARS and the central hair and eagle-feather details softer than on the With Periods variants. As the first business-strike issue of the new design that is generally available, the 1907 No Periods is a perennially popular--as well as still quite beautiful--gold type coin, one that appears well poised for future appreciation. The present example offers beautiful, highly lustrous honey-gold surfaces with superb eye appeal. The eagle shows a few small ticks under a loupe, but the piece is overall outstanding, with unbroken, mattelike luster.
