<B>1905-S 50C MS67 PCGS.</B></I> An exciting example that is tied for the finest certified, this Superb Gem possesses superlative russet, gold, and sea-green toning that is intermingled across the obverse surface and concentric on the reverse. All of the design elements are boldly detailed and the surfaces are pristine. Although this date hides in the shadows of the 1904-S rarity, it is elusive in Gem grades and quite possibly underrated at the highest grade levels. Just 12 examples of the 1905-S Barber half dollar have been certified as Gem quality pieces by PCGS.
