<B>1905-S $20 MS63 PCGS.</B></I> The level of eye appeal of the typical 1905-S double eagle is below-average because the coins are sometimes being weakly struck and nearly always heavily bagmarked, which dulls the luster. On the present Select example, an impressive strike emboldens all of the design elements, and potent luster is seen throughout. Contact marks on Liberty's cheek prevent a higher grade, but even they do not adversely affect the coin's overall eye appeal, which is actually quite impressive for the grade.
