<B>1905 G$1 Lewis and Clark MS64 PCGS.</B></I> The Lewis and Clark Exposition was officially called the <I>Lewis and Clark Centennial American Pacific Exposition and Oriental Fair</B></I>, and was held in Portland, Oregon in 1905, ostensibly to celebrate the centennial of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, but actually to promote the city of Portland. The exposition attracted both exhibits and visitors from around the world, and drew more than 1.6 million visitors during a four-month run.
