1905 $20 MS63 PCGS. Following a mammoth production of more than six million pieces in 1904, the Philadelphia Mint took a little breather from the minting of double eagles the following year when output plummeted to just 58,900 coins. It appears that most of this small output found its way into the channels of commerce, as only a few hundred Mint State pieces are extant. Factor in a propensity for heavy abrasions and even Select examples such as this are quite scarce. Offered here is a satiny, moderately abraded representative with no individually distracting marks. The location of a finer specimen would not only be extremely challenging, but at least double the cost.
From The Kutasi Collection.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
