1905 $20 MS62 PCGS. More than 6.2 million double eagles were struck at Philadelphia in 1904. Perhaps Treasury holdings remained plentiful in 1905, when the Philadelphia Mint delivery was less than 59,000 pieces. Unsurprisingly, Mint State survivors are very scarce, particularly in comparison with the ubiquitous 1904. The present canary-gold example is nicely struck and lustrous, displaying numerous light obverse marks consistent with the MS62 grade.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
