<B>1905 $2 1/2 MS65 Prooflike NGC.</B></I> For an issue with a mintage in excess of 300,000 pieces, few examples of this date are known in Gem condition. Few Gem examples of any date are known with the coveted Gem Prooflike designation. According to the current NGC online <I>Census Report,</B></I> this piece <I>appears to be the finest and only known example of this date certified Gem Prooflike condition.</B></I> The surfaces are a superlative yellow-gold, with deeply mirrored fields and moderate field-device contrast.
