<B>1904 St. Louis Louisiana Purchase Exposition Souvenir Cup.</B></I> Enameled metal, 2.75 tall, 2.75 in diameter, Austrian maker mark Elite and distributor mark Norvell-Shapleigh Hardware Company, St. Louis, Mo. on bottom. This cup was a souvenir of the 1904 St. Louis Exposition, a centennial celebration of the Louisiana Purchase. The cup is decorated with a transfer featuring portraits of Napoleon and Jefferson, a map of the United States circa 1803 with another circa 1903, and a view of Eads Bridge, which at the time was the largest arch bridge in the world.
