<B>1904-S 50C MS64 PCGS.</B></I> A remarkable example that has survived for several years in a first-generation PCGS holder, this satiny near-Gem has fully brilliant silver color that is accented by only a trace of gold toning. Both sides have mildly reflective surfaces that exhibit only a few slight blemishes preventing a Gem grade opinion. Traces of original striations from the rolling machine can be seen on the high points of the design, and are partially responsible for the less than full strike of this example.
