<B>1904 S$1 PR67 PCGS.</B></I> Ex: JFS Collection. This is a stunning Superb Gem proof with small areas of brilliance on each side. Most of the obverse and reverse surfaces are toned with a wonderful display of gold, sea-green, and cobalt-blue iridescence. Underneath the toning, we see extremely deep mirrored surfaces with evidence of lustrous devices. There is a distinct appearance of cameo contrast between the fields and devices, although the toning prevents an exact analysis. Perhaps it is worth noting that PCGS has never certified a Cameo or Deep Cameo example of this date.
