<B>1904<img border='0' src='http://www.heritagecoins.com/images/star.gif' width=10 height=10>$1> MS65 NGC.</B></I> The 1904 is usually available in the lower grades of Uncirculated, but it is seldom seen in Gem condition. This is primarily because the luster is substandard, and the striking quality less-than-satisfactory. This particular piece has bright mint luster and surprisingly strong definition in the centers (for a coin struck from the C4 reverse). Mostly brilliant, there are only slight abrasions scattered about, none of which are of individual significance.
