<B>1904 Presidential Election Paper Hat Poster.</B></I> Part of a Sunday supplement from the Boston <I>American Journal Examiner,</B></I> dated October 30, 1904, measuring 21.5" x 16.5", brittle and yellowed due to the high acid content of the paper, a few splits at the folds, else good. This is most certainly a rarity from Teddy Roosevelt's second run for president. One can just imagine throngs of Boston children parading around their neighborhoods that Sunday morning 103 years ago in their red, white, and blue fore-and-aft paper hats. If you were not a big Roosevelt & Fairbanks supporter then with little more than scissors and glue you could back the Parker & Davis ticket or the Watson & Tibbles team.
