1904-O 50C MS65 PCGS. The 1904 New Orleans issue had a mintage of 1,117,600 pieces. David Lawrence, in The Complete Guide to Barber Halves, wrote: "Scarce in F and above. Extremely tough VF30 to MS62." To this we would add that PCGS and NGC have seen fewer than 130 pieces in all grades, about 60 of which are in Mint State. This piece has exceptional design details with sharp definition on both sides; only the upper right part of the shield reveals minor softness. It has fully brilliant surfaces and vibrant luster with only a few insignificant marks to prevent a higher grade. Population: 5 in 65, 6 finer (11/06).

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
