<B>1904-O $1 MS67 NGC.</B></I> After the release of bag quantities of the 1903-O and 1904-O in the early 1960s, there were very few examples in what would be considered Superb condition today. Most collectors at the time were pleased to finally be able to obtain one of these former rarities in Uncirculated condition, and such considerations as MS67 did not exist at that time. Over the past two decades the grading services have seen several million coins and only 96 MS67 examples of this issue have been certified by both NGC and PCGS. This is a remarkably lustrous dollar that has thick, bright, satiny surfaces. The surfaces overall, and Liberty's cheek especially, is clean and nearly defect-free.
