<B>1904-O $1 MS67 NGC.</B></I> The 1904-O Morgan dollar went from being one of the rarest issues in the entire series, in Mint State, to becoming one of the most common, after the Philadelphia Mint released more than a million Uncirculated pieces from long-term storage in 1962. At the Superb Gem level of preservation, however, the '04-O remains elusive. This example is intensely lustrous, with semi-reflective fields and brilliant silver-white surfaces. Well struck except for typical weakness over the centers, this lovely dollar coin is minimally marked on both sides; a testament to its restful preservation in a mint bag for many decades.
