<B>1904 G$1 Lewis and Clark MS65 PCGS.</B></I> The net production of 1904 Lewis and Clark dollars, just 10,025 examples, is a minuscule figure compared to the authorized mintage of 250,000 pieces. This luminous butter-yellow representative shows just a hint of frost on the devices, and the overall level of preservation is high. Garrett and Guth (2006) describe the issue as "one of the rarer issues of the series," particularly in Gem and better condition.
