<B>1904 G$1 Lewis and Clark MS64 NGC.</B></I> Lewis, Clark, and their Corps of Discovery left camp near Hartford, Illinois, on the east bank of the Mississippi River, on May 14, 1804, marking the beginning of their trek to the Pacific coast. This 1904 commemoration of that epic journey shows a couple of tiny luster grazes and hairlines fail to dampen the appeal of this apricot-gold piece, with radiant luster and a good strike.
