1904 Fan Craze Baseball Board Game. Just a year before Ty Cobb emerged upon the Major League scene, this charming little board game hit the retail shelves, bringing baseball to kids stuck inside on a rainy day. All fifty-two playing cards, complete with 19th and early 20th century baseball trivia on each, are present and accounted for, as is the wooden playing field, the envelope with nails for marking the strike count, runs and players, and an unused (though toned) scorecard. The exterior box shows some water staining and edge wear, but still presents quite nicely and remains solid and intact. Pencil writing on underside of box will have no effect upon display. A nice example of a very tough game.

Shipping: Miscellaneous Collectibles, Larg (view shipping information)
