<B>1904 5C MS67 </B></I> S<B> NGC.</B></I> From the original mintage of 21,404,980 pieces, the current offering emerges as the finest known example to date. It is one of three Superb Gems certified as such by NGC, and the only one of the three to receive the so-called "Star" designation, denoting remarkable eye appeal. (PCGS has yet to grade any example of this issue at the MS67 level.) Unbelievably intense luster virtually explodes from the pristine surfaces. A few of the design elements are softly struck, but that seems easy to forgive on a coin of such amazing overall quality.
