<B>1904 $20 MS65 NGC.</B></I> Two mints between themselves manufactured a prodigious quantity of more than 11 million double eagles in 1904, with Philadelphia the largest and San Francisco the second-largest mintage for the entire Liberty Head type, as well as the subtype with TWENTY DOLLARS. This exuberant example offers glowing orange-gold surfaces, a full strike, and scarcely a trace of distraction.
