<B>1904 $2 1/2 PR63 PCGS.</B></I> This 1904 Select proof quarter eagle displays a delicate mix of beautiful orange-gold and lime-green patination that complements exquisitely struck design features. A few inoffensive handling marks in the fields preclude a higher grade. While most examples of this issue lack notable field-motif contrast, the devices on this coin appear to glide over deeply mirrored fields when the piece is tilted under a light source.
