<B>1904 $1 MS65 NGC.</B></I> The 1904 dollar has a reputation for being less than well produced. David Bowers (2005) says of this issue: " Most coins seen today are poorly to indifferently struck and with poor luster--all in all, rather sorry looking." The Gem in this lot exhibits dazzling luster and is generally well struck, with only minor softness in the centers.
