<B>1903-S S$1 MS66 PCGS.</B></I> Ex: Cajun. VAM-4. Like several varieties of the 1903-S Morgan dollars, this piece is from a doubled reverse die created by use of two different hubs. An extra olive is clearly visible next to the primary bud, and other minor doubling is also apparent. While such varieties are generally not all that popular with collectors today, they certainly lend additional numismatic interest. This piece is a lovely Premium Gem with soft, frosty luster and brilliant silver surfaces. Slight traces of pale champagne toning are evident on each side, and the surfaces are free of blemishes.
