<B>1903-S $20 MS64 NGC.</B></I> This near-Gem double eagle displays amazingly intense mint frost across both sides. The lovely honey-gold coloration is imbued with subtle rose accents, increasing the overall eye appeal of the piece. Many examples of this San Francisco Mint issue were shipped overseas, only to be returned to the U.S. in recent decades, according to Garrett and Guth.
