1903$1 MS67 PCGS. While the 1903-P is not an absolute rarity, there are surprisingly few high grade examples known today when one considers the bags of this date that were released in the 1950s and 1960s. PCGS has only certified 58 pieces in MS67 with none finer (1/06). The surfaces of the usually-seen 1903 have bright, satiny luster, minimal abrasions, and a strong strike. That certainly describes this piece. There are no individually mentionable marks on either side of this lovely Superb Gem. The top of the obverse and bottom of the reverse show a bit of golden-brown toning and the mint luster sparkles as the coin is rotated beneath a light.
From The Leslie E.
