The glistening, untoned surfaces and crisply struck design elements come close to perfection, as a Superb Gem representation of this late New Orleans Mint issue. Only a trace of milkiness over each side and a few microscopic nicks keep this piece from achieving the rare MS68 rating. As it is, few others can match the overall quality of this beautiful specimen, which deserves a strong bid from its next owner.
