<B>1903-O $1 MS67 NGC.</B></I> The 1903-O had a mintage of 4.450 million pieces, but David Bowers (1906)estimates that 4 million were melted under the terms of the 1918 Pittman Act. This Superb Gem displays excellent design definition, including that on the strands of Liberty's hair and the feathers on the eagle's breast. Close examination exhibits wisps of faint tan-gold color at the margins.
