<B>1903 G$1 Louisiana Purchase/Jefferson MS66 PCGS.</B></I> Two varieties of the Louisiana Purchase Exposition gold dollars were created, one featuring a portrait of Thomas Jefferson who spear headed the Louisiana Purchase, and the other depicting William McKinley who was President at the time that the convention was first planned. A sharp strike and deep honey-gold color are the hallmarks of this reflective, nearly prooflike Premium Gem. Both sides have nearly perfect surfaces with radiant luster and exceptional aesthetic appeal.
