<B>1903 $2 1/2 PR64 NGC.</B></I> This intricately struck near-Gem is one of only 197 proofs struck. The fields are profoundly mirrored, and are well preserved aside from a few faint hairlines on the lower right obverse. The reverse exhibits unimprovable contrast between the frosted eagle and the reflective field. Liberty's hair is also icy, although the cheek and neck lack contrast, which prevents a Cameo designation.
