<B>1903 1C PR67 Red PCGS.</B></I> A common coin in a phenomenally uncommon condition, this Superb Gem proof coin, one of 1,790 pieces coined for the year, is one of only 10 pieces so graded at PCGS, with none finer (4/07). For the <I>entire bronze Indian Head subtype,</B></I> PCGS has certified only 82 coins in PR67 Red, with two coins achieving PR68 Red. This delightful example offers predominantly tan-gold surfaces on both sides, with a wash of sunrise-orange visible in the left obverse field. The striking details are pinpoint-sharp, as expected, and only a few flecks of darker toning are visible under a loupe.
