<B>1903 $1 PR64 NGC.</B></I> American collectors have grown accustomed to Cameo coins as the preferred style of proof coinage. Some issues, however, produced without frosted devices (such as the 1903 Morgan dollar) manage to convey a pleasing appearance without showing field-to-device contrast. This is such a specimen. The design motifs are sharply struck, and both sides are free of contact marks and hairlines.
