<B>1901-S $5 MS66 PCGS.</B></I> The 1901-S half eagle is probably the most common date in the series in most grades. Thousands of coins have been certified in Mint State. Only in MS65 and higher grades does this issue become tough to locate. The current Premium Gem exhibits bright luster and peach-gold color, and is well struck throughout. A few minute marks preclude an even higher grade.
