1901-S 25C Good 4 PCGS. Easily the rarest piece in the Barber quarter series, the 1901-S is most often found in very high grades, such as the Gem in this year's Platinum Night, or very low grades, as evidenced by several AG coins in this sale. Even a coin in the modest grade of Good is unusual and prized by collectors. This coin is precisely that; well-worn, but with full outlines of the devices and a few remaining details visible. The stars and lettering are entirely distinct from the rims on both sides, with full dentilation on the obverse and about 40% of the reverse. The Y and half of the T in LIBERTY are visible. An attractive light gray in color, this coin bears an unusually low quantity of surface markings, and would fit quite nicely into any circulated set of Barber quarters.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
