<B>1901-S<25C> AG3 PCGS.</B></I> A business strike date and mint collection of Barber quarters has more stoppers than the dimes or halves. The most formidable among the key dates is the 1901-S, which is generally found well worn, as is the present piece. Nonetheless, the date is clearly legible to the unaided eye, and the mintmark is apparent although filled. IN GOD WE TRUST and most stars are separated from the rim, while about 50% of the reverse legends remain present. A century ago, this piece must have passed through dozens of hands, all of whom were unaware of its significance.<BR><I>From The Tide Collection.</B></I>
