<B>1901-S $10 MS65 </B></I> S<B> NGC.</B></I> The star designation represents superior eye appeal for the grade, and that is immediately obvious when one views this piece. The fields appear to have been struck either from polished dies or the planchet was polished prior to striking. The obverse is fully prooflike and the reverse is just a bit less so. Star 13 is the only area that prevents a full strike designation. The warm, orange-gold surfaces show a few minor marks, which seem unjustly magnified in importance by the bright prooflike fields.
