The Pan-American Exposition, held in Buffalo in 1901, was an obscure and poorly attended fair until September 6 when as anarchist named Leon Czolgosz shot President McKinley. The President died several days later, and huge crowds flocked to see the place where the President was shot. This wonderful 5.75" long sterling spoon is a souvenir of this infamous fair. It has a buffalo at the top of the handle. The rest of the handle says Buffalo. The lightly gold washed bowl is the citrus shape. It has the Manufacturers and Liberal Arts Building. The back of the spoon is plain. This spoon is in extremely good condition and will cost $4 to ship to US addresses.
