<B>1901-O S$1 MS67 PCGS.</B></I> Ex: Jack Lee, Part II. This remarkable Superb Gem dollar displays radiantly reflective, semi-prooflike fields and crisply impressed devices. A faint splash of apricot color on each side prevents the piece from being completely brilliant. The striking details are excellent, and the only bit of weakness appears just above the ear. Well preserved and nearly blemish-free, this is a truly impressive example from the New Orleans Mint. Despite a high mintage of more than 13 million coins, few have survived at such a lofty level of preservation.
