<B>1901 $20 --Rim Filed, Scratched, Cleaned--ANACS. PR60 Details.</B></I> A sizable and impressive piece of Liberty proof gold that retains eye appeal despite past ill-treatment. Both the obverse and reverse rims show filing, with the evidence clearest between 9 o'clock and 12 o'clock on the reverse. The yellow-gold surfaces show numerous small contact marks and hairlines from a past cleaning. Still, this coin's reflectivity remains unmistakable, and the obverse of this sharply struck specimen even retains some contrast.
