<B>1901 $20 MS65 PCGS.</B></I> With a mintage of just 111,430 pieces, the 1901 double eagle remains underappreciated as an issue, with practically no premium accorded to it through most Mint State grades. This beautiful and well-preserved piece has bold detail and powerful luster. The shining surfaces are predominantly orange-gold, though elements of peach are present in the fields.
