<B>1901 $10 MS65 PCGS.</B></I> Relatively large quantities of the 1901 1.718 million-piece mintage survives today, largely resulting from repatriation of coins from European bank hoards (Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth, 2006). As close to 800 MS65 examples have been certified, type collectors gravitate to this date for the excellent value it offers in high grades. The current Gem displays lustrous green-gold surfaces that are relatively well preserved.
