1900s Red French Postcard Album with Cards
A partially filled French postcard album published by A. Cartier, 35, Rue Bonaparte, 35, Paris. Red cloth stamped: "Album Pour Cartes Postales Illustrees" within a border with black and white stamped swallows and flowers; paper label is applied with handwritten "chateaux." The album is in fair to good condition; the cloth with dampstains, wear, fading, wrinkling, inner hinge split near the front, several leaves detached; toning/light foxing. Postcards overall in good condition, some with foxing; most appear to be unsent, but at least a few are stamped/franked and/or written on. 13" x 10 1/2" x 2 1/2".
