This clock is made by the E. Ingraham Company of Bristol, Connecticut in the early 1900s--possibly around 1915. It is in nearly perfect condition!

The clock features gold leaf decoration on the front glass door as well as the pressed oak surrounding frame in an ornate design. The clock is 22 inches tall and 3 inches deep. It has an 8-day time and strike, and it works! The key and cast pendulum bob are both still with the clock. The clock works through a springwound movement and a coiled gong. It strikes on the hour and the half-hour and has an alarm.

The label from the maker is intact on the back of the clock and gives the winding instructions. As well, the original seller, E. W. Muntz Jewelers of Hillsboro, Ohio, is on the back.

This is an excellent example of this type of shelf clock for the collector!
